I am in awe with one of park in Solo called Balekambang Park, in here not only the place for gathering, playing, like other, but also a little animal shelter, like reptile and deer which was freely around the park, it was so cute! you could play with them, feeding them.

You don’t need pay for the entrance, it just you can keep clean and the beauty of the park, but if you wanna ride some of water vehicle you have to pay 10.000 in Rupiah. and for the Balekambang’s Reptile Park you have to pay 5000.

Sometimes for special events, there are someΒ Wayang, KetoprakΒ Show in open hall, this place was quite complete for enjoying the weekend, kind of park itself.

  1. I enjoyed the pictures and wondered about the one with the big rock “Batu Asmara.” I looked for a translation or explanation, but all I found was the phrase “There is no stone romance.” Do you know more to the story? Thank you.

    • I am sorry, i made you looked for it πŸ™‚ and I didn’t put the meaning on my post πŸ™‚

It means the symbol of how much love the father to his daughters at that time this place was built long time ago by one of the king of solo πŸ™‚

  2. Please write more and post more pictures. I really enjoy your blog and looking at life from your perspective. Well done!
