Dear reader and blogger friends,
Meet Batik! right on this day we are Indonesian, celebrating Batik’s day! second of October on 2009 UNESCO gave this (Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity) for Batik.
we used to think that Batik only could be worn on a formal events or in Indonesian important days, and looked strange if we wore it in daily, moreover just to hang out. but now we can wear it whatever the events come up.
If you are my friends, it’s getting here, don’t forget to get it for souvenir ๐
Batik was only in these colors between black, brown and it looked monotone in its patterns.
but now, we have it in colorful and a lot of patterns
i use to design my own batik, and here’s some of it ๐
one of my favorite pattern!
and nowadays Batik has another manifestation it called “Lurik Batik” and this is hits fashion in here
Thankyou for reading ๐

Beautiful patterns and a beautiful being behind the veil ๐ good that you know to use your freedom and play with it. But the most important thing in the world is a free heart. ย “The heavens and the earth cannot contain Me, but the heart of a true believer canโ (Hadith Qudsi).

Thankyou:)
Hi! You’re a very talented artist! The fabrics are beautiful, and I even like the darker ones, as well. I really like the last photo and the way the skirt looks!
Thanks a lot Randyjw! Probably when you visit my country you won’t be confused to have what’s special from my country to keep and for souvenir to be brought home ๐
What the difficulty would be is in limiting the items to take home! Indonesia has such wonderful craftsmen and artists, it would be very difficult to choose only a few items! I also love the woodcarving; I’d love to be able to create those kinds of work, myself!
You are too much about it, each countries always have their something special ๐ aww woodcarving is awesome too!
Great post. I love culture and I believe my son may be visiting your country this summer.
Thankyou! Aww great planning! I will be glad to know the experiences in here ๐

Absolutely beautiful. Love the pattern on your full pic. That dress is so pretty! And you look so feminine. That patchwork one is perfect with the little cardigan you are wearing!
We don’t really have that here, but I’ve seen Indian women where it. I however think you wear it best, especially with those cute shoes! ๐
Aww thankyou dear ๐ i hope someday able to give something like this for you ๐
So many colors on Batik! Loved all of them! We bongs call it “Batik er kaj” (Batik works) but the ones here are very vibrant!
Yez they are so colorful right now! Thankyou ๐ ow so your country owns something like batik too?

I also like your batik. Have you done it yourself?
Thankyou so much ๐ no i only design it
It’s very pretty.
Very nice post, thanks for sharing ๐ May I ask you one question? I saw in your other posts that men wear Batik too. Is there any particular pattern or colour for men?
Thankyou so much for following and visiting my blog, oh yez of course men wear batik too but usually in black or brown, but for now is up to them what colors they want to applicate to their batik ๐
Oh that’s great ๐ May I ask how much is the average price for a Batik dress (or suit)? I guess it depends on many factors such as material, designer, etc., right?
Yez it depends the fabric, quality and the model of the batik itself, the nice one mostly cost 200 thousand (in rupiah) started from that
Many thanks for your responses. I will definitely get one when I visit Indonesia. I was fascinated by the beautiful patterns since the first time I saw it in a boutique in France ๐
You’re welcome! Wow so glad you like batik too ๐ and to know that batik almost all over the world, thankyou so much for letting me know
This is good information. In India we too use tie and die also batik work to pattern clothes.
Aw thankyou, and thankyou again for that information i have just known it ๐
Oh you are welcome dear, just incase I have something I will post you a picture of it.
