It’s been so long since my last post, and i miss being here, probably some of you forget who i am, in this year i feel like lack of creativity, i am so sorry for my absent, i hope you didn’t forget me 🙂 and i think enough for the lame opening, and focus on the post i will share :).

I just want to share my little trip last week, i visited some places actually, but i think i will separate it into different posts.

Actually it’s been so long i wanted to get here, but the chances were always not right, failed just like that, enjoying the view with sunset before me always calmed me down, in the evening glow of beautiful view! just a quick post to let you know that right now when you wait for the time to continue the trip in port, you won’t be bored to death, i know it always takes long for the run but the alternative when you visit The port of Perak, Surabaya is enjoyable!

This place is located at North Perak, Pabean Cantian, Surabaya City, East Java 60165, Indonesia, so if you use ship transportation, automatically you can visit this place, while waiting the ship to go, just go up to more floors, and you will find the way, not only for passenger itself, this place is open for public too! operational time at 11 AM – 8 PM.

There are some spots to get snacks, foods, beverages too in here, with a view traditional choices, so while you are ogling the view you can also enjoying your meals.

Anyway what’s the better idea to not let the chance to look sunset and some beautiful ships around in front of you ? you can spend your weekend here or when the time you get tired of your daily at work, just visit this place and it’s for free!

C’BOX CAFE – NICE CONSTRUCTION DESIGN

This time i’d like to take you to a cafe in my hometown called C’BOX Cafe, this is something new in here with the interesting architecture building design that i know is kind of contractors, i love the whole designs started from the kitchen, Up-floor and the ground floor, with the different wall paintings in each background seats, the seats itself with different styles and uniquely, not just that, for the photography you can take the moments in the whole area and spots of the cafe because it wold be stunning! i assume if you want to make some parties, this is one of the right place to you!

you could look at the pictures i took here, Sorry, i only used my iphone to take the pictures, so it wasn’t too maximal.

Let me tell you about the main topic, the food and beverages, i only enjoyed the green tea at that time, because it was the only one i wanted to taste, at first it felt vague to me, with many foods and drinks that would be served, i assumed that would be not that good in taste, but i was wrong! ok it really tasted nice and satisfied with the serving. (so don’t judge by the look earlier!)

This cafe is a new one in Kediri East Java, the operation itself in the early month of Ramadhan, if you want to taste something different, just visit here! the foods and the beverages itself are not that expensive, of course you can enjoy the cozy place too, for instagrammers this is instagramable place for you too!

Keepsakes From Solo And A Little Things I Have Found Out

okey i can’t keep promising you to stay posting regularly like i always did, oh my God i do miss blogging actually, but my daily can’t compete with that, so i still try to keep posting once a week at least.

Still from the side of Solo, if you missed out my other posts about Solo, Central Java, you can visit my previous posts, I have a lot to tell you here actually about how appealing Solo is, started from the locality, the people, and all about it, but i know probably you will be bored to read it, i just give my points :).

Solo is the district where you can find out the born tradition, culture is stay long-lasting until now. for example one of the gate to welcome you if you have reached Solo territory, you will meet the awesome dome with Wayang (if you have known and i have a chance to explain, visiting the place with awesome wayang in it, i will show you what it is in my other posts later) and  a little Batik carving ornament that decorate it. it’s one of characteristic!

It was hot day when i visited there, i only strolled around enjoying the beauty of Solo, because if i got in with some transportation, i was afraid, i would miss out some interesting things around, besides one good place and another was just near so i could easily be stopping by, fortunately the way for pedestrians was so evergreen, really it was so fun!

What i like about Solo is, The local people still maintain the old buildings that stay stand beautifully, you know the historical of Indonesia, We had ever been colonized by some foreign countries, it means they leaved some parts of them like buildings, and Solo had a lot of it.

The Fort Vastenburg , was one of the heritage of Dutch Nations who occupied and ruling for longest period in Indonesia. This fort is still around Hadiningrat Surakarta Palace so you can just walk down the street toward this place.

And i will take you to one of market i had found out, if you miss some antique things from ages ago, here is one of the place! called “Triwindu” i think the place is quite complete to sell out the old stuffs, like household furniture, radio, television which still get the good function.

when i look these suitcases i remember “Fantastic Beast and Where to find Them movie” !!!

There is this train that takes you to around Solo, Train Perintis Bathara Kresna that is operated in this schedules, started from Purwosari Station and arrived in Wonogiri.

• First departure, 06.00 – 07.45 AM
• Second, 10.00 – 11.45 AM

If you started from Wonogiri and end up in Purwoasri,

• First departure, 08.00 – 09.45 AM
• Second 11.45 – 12.15 WIB

and it only costs 4000 in rupiah !

Danar Hadi Museum -The Place to Learn Historical of Batik Through The Ages

The new month, new hope, i hope for the best in every month i am given to this breathing 🙂 and this my very first post in this month, i hope it continuously gets active like used to.

This time i will take you to Danar Hadi Museum that’s still located in Solo, Central Java, Indonesia. Solo is one of the place in Indonesia you can meet some different of Batiks, although every places has their own style of unique currently, but you will find more in here, in printed and handmade. You can get to know more, the very first event about historical of batik through the ages, that until now to be one of our main heritage in Indonesia. This place is divided by some, in front, before you can get entering the museum, you will be shown the product of Danar Hadi itself, you can do shopping in here and i have to admit it, most of the Batiks are gorgeous! i think the prices are worth! then directly entering the museum after you have paid the ticket for 35.000 (in Rupiah) on the lawn, there’s restaurant too. Unfortunately when you have gotten inside the museum, you will not be allowed to take the photo, but you will, if you get the step on the making process, i just get really disappointed thing about this actually. As you get around, you will be accompanied by guide to explain the stuffs in museum, tell you a story from the very beginning of Batik until now.

You must be asking, why this museum was named after Danar Hadi, actually, this is not just the brand but it’s still related to someone that owns it, Santosa Doellah started the business in 1967 and the name of the brand itself was taken from his wife name Danarsih and his father-in law, then became “Danar Hadi”. So this place is absolutely legend from me, you can not only will find out Danar Hadi store in Solo, but also some big towns around Indonesia, but for the museum, in Solo just the only one.

And this is the making process of Batik,

Handmade, It is so detailed, sometimes it takes many weeks to be finished up, so that Batik Handmade is more priceless than in printed, and of course expensive. It needs to be done by the expert.

Printed, just following the molds that have been made before then sticked on the material with the same line.

Balekambang Park, A Little Animal Shelter and Beautiful View

It’s been a month i wasn’t active in here, because of my busy life recently i had to focus on but i promise i will try to be active again :).

I will let you know my experiences, still in Solo, Indonesia, Center of Java, if you miss out my first post in Solo, you can visit it in here

I am in awe with one of park in Solo called Balekambang Park, in here not only the place for gathering, playing, like other, but also a little animal shelter, like reptile and deer which was freely around the park, it was so cute! you could play with them, feeding them.

You don’t need pay for the entrance, it just you can keep clean and the beauty of the park, but if you wanna ride some of water vehicle you have to pay 10.000 in Rupiah. and for the Balekambang’s Reptile Park you have to pay 5000.

Sometimes for special events, there are some Wayang, Ketoprak Show in open hall, this place was quite complete for enjoying the weekend, kind of park itself.

It’s located near Manahan Solo Stadium,  Exactly (Jalan Balekambang No. 1, Banjarsari, Kota Surakarta, Jawa Tengah 57139). and open around 6AM-5PM.

Hadiningrat Surakarta Palace (Keraton Kesultanan Hadiningrat) – A Part Of Museum Which Keeps Sultanate Collection

A view weeks ago i visited Solo (Solo i talked about here was name of one of city in Central Java, Indonesia, not traveling alone !), I love some cities in Center of Java, The Buildings, custom, foods (although the main taste is always sweet) but their habitual or culture is always something interesting to be followed.

So My first attempt to let you know and the first destination in Solo is Hadiningrat Surakarta Palace (or in Indonesia is called, Keraton Surakarta Hadinigrat) until now this place is still operated as King’s dwelling (Sri Susuhunan Hamengku Buwono), and some sort of cultural events that be held in certain time of specific dates each years.

As like England has kingdom which is as a symbol of the country, in Indonesia has it too that stands still until now, although it doesn’t have the function like England.

A part of palace is museum, that gets us able to entering this place and get around to see historical stuffs like sultanate’s collections, European kings’ giving included, the palace heritage in replication like Gamelan. The Rest of the building is closed because it just for the member of the palace. There are lines on it.

The writing on the tree is (Do Not Take The Sand From This Palace), probably some of you wondering, there’s myth or the truth of another one experiences that if you took it although just a little, you would take responsibility to meet the unseen creatures that live in this palace, you know this palace have been aged a hundred years, that you had to take it back to the palace if you didn’t want to get any risks or to meet them all your life.

Dear Reader and My Blogger Friends, I knew this December i was not productive to write anything, because of something, but i will make it on next year 🙂

You know i am writing this post with watching “World War Z” tha’s Brad Pitt ! that is airing on TV, and less than an hour toward 2017. i used to stay up late to make my wish to make some plans on the year i will get through, pray, just stay at home, doesn’t go out to enjoy the firework like most people do, contemplating what was good or bad during the year.

Anyway i am so thrilled, i had decided to make this blog, started this year on April, because of it i have all of you in here to share some experiences, whatever happy or bad moments during traveling or anything. Thank you so much for the supports you have given me, to sometimes for stopping by, leaving a comments, i really appreciate it 🙂 until now i am writing this post, i almost have 2000 friends in total, thank you so much 🙂

i knew this was my tough year, i didn’t have so much spirit but reading a book was giving me some recoveries to stand still. to be honest i became a nerd started on this year! i thought it was a good habits, i made a goodreads account to find out what good books to read and from there i had and met a lot of nice readers to share some thought about books, yeay recently i had accomplished my reading goals i set on January until right on December i did achieve one of my wish of the year in 100 books. Probably for you who usually really loved the book, that was something usual, but for me that was one of amazing achievement. what a year!

I still keep exploring what is in mine to be better and better again, keep digging goals and increasing quality of life and myself, i still hope i wanna stay in England for a months to explore (my favorite country so far), enjoying snow in Switzerland, and etc. yup i still write that things on my dream books 🙂 i am sure i will get it in other circumstances and chances. And the last but not the least is i wanna pray on time!

I just hope for the best and wanna get what i have never gotten before, thanks 2016 for the good and bad memories, welcome 2017 ! i am so excited to greet you to become my most wonderful year 🙂

Floating Market in Angkut Museum

This time i will take you to floating market (pasar apung) and this is still located in Angkut Museum.

Commonly we find it out at some big islands in Indonesia like Borneo, Sumatra, or Papua but now there’s a little part of it in Angkut Museum while you learn something about transportation on it. For entering this market is free, you just need to find out Indonesian cuisines which you like, mostly in here selling kind of traditional Indonesian meals, beverages, and snacks and the sellers are  on the boat to serve it.

you are able to go around this market with the boat, but you have to pay 10.000 (in rupiah) and fishing, so that the water around it doesn’t look clear.

you can be in this train just for sitting while enjoying your meals, this train is just one of property.

i was satisfied there’s a little mosque in here, it’s clean and you will be pleased to pray in here

the night comes, Float Market is still on

so, if you want to enjoy the market in another way or atmosphere, you can visit this market for having fun while enjoying Indonesian foods and beverages.

A Little Around The World Tour in Angkut Museum

A few days ago i get a little tour in Museum Angkut or in western (Transport Museum) i put Angkut Museum on the tittle because i don’t want to replace the name. Located at Batu, East java, Indonesia which always has a cold breeze and i always like the weather. This museum is contained with the transportation from the time of the first Indonesian President until now, The Old Indonesia, until a little western countries. This museum commonly gave a lot of spots to photography, if you need to bring DSLR or Pocket Camera or other cameras but phone cam, you had to pay 30.000 in rupiah, but it was worth it!.

The Ticket itself, usual days Monday – Thursday – 60.000 but on weekdays, Friday – Sunday – 80.000 but if you want to entering D Topeng Museum + full access to take a pictures on some planes in the air transportation spot you have to add 20.000 on the ticket.

The Entrance Locket open at 11.00 AM – 19.00 PM, but for the museum at 12.00 AM – 20.00 PM.

Besides, you will get the lesson of the transportation history in the world, you can be longing for taking pictures on some awesome spots there. One of education place that’s worth to visit.

Madam Wang Secret Garden, A Mixture of Cafe and Boutique at Once

I was so delightful to finally visited this place! it’s been a long i wanted to go in here. it felt like i wanted to lingering on, because this place was so beautiful and like the name, (secret garden) it truly right! i loved every corner of the rooms, and each spots had their own style, you can see on my snaps below, and sorry for like a hundred pictures i shared, because I couldn’t keep my hands for snapping it, those things were placed so beautifully.

This place for me like a mixture of cafe and boutique, there are some entrance in the earlier when you get there, the one which lead you into boutique, and the one that goes straight into cafe. The boutique mostly selling Batik in beautiful and anti-mainstream patterns like limited, you can choose still in fabrics or cloths in some awesome styles. Then for the foods was quite cheap and fit with the taste. it’s around 10 – 30 thousand in Rupiah.

1. The place is awesome ! each spots have their own style, like classic, bohemian, gardening, music and so on – ♥♥♥♥♥
2. The taste of the food, it fit with the taste. The range of prices are quite cheap, in some different foods and beverages  it’s affordable! – ♥♥♥♥
3. For the serving is good. – ♥♥♥♥

you can find out the place in this address, it’s located at Malang in a familiar street near Brawijaya Museum, that usually used to Car Free Day on Sundays. Go to the alley just a little walk in front of Santa Maria 2 High school.
